TEEN BREATHE ISSUE 52

In this issue:Small-talk skills • After-school barre • Linking lists • Take a thought walk • Pine-needle tea • Denim thrift flips • What your star sign says about you

Have you ever felt that a new school year brings with it the idea of fresh starts and new beginnings? A chance to reset, get into better habits, move from ‘old you’ to ‘new you’. But sometimes as the end of term approaches, work piles up and changes you’d hoped to make haven’t happened, it can be easy to slip into ‘I give up’ mode. This is when it can help to take a breath and turn your attention to the good things.

As winter closes in, the holiday excitement builds and your breath turns frosty, throw in thumbprint cookies, homemade gifts (adorn with our festive tags on page 32), cosy socks and earlier to bed with a good book, and it won’t be long before you’re feeling jolly about the possibilities that lie ahead again. Here at Teen Breathe, we’re enjoying a fresh start of our own.

Along with after-school exercises, crafty thrift flips and top recommendations from BookTokker Abby’s Books, we’ve added ten pages of tea-time puzzles, games and colouring to help you relax and unwind. We’d love to hear what you think.
