Teen Breathe

Teen Breathe – Issue 4

Look up at the sky and it’s easy to feel small and insignificant. On a clear night it’s filled with an array of stars while during the day it’s a shifting scene as clouds of all shapes, sizes and mood come and go. Either way, it’s an awesome sight to behold.

It can be a lot to get your head round, but most people ponder at some point about what life really means and fret that they can’t make a difference when they see things going wrong.

The good news is that you can. It might not be easy, but try not to be daunted. Young women are at the forefront of the move to save our planet’s oceans from a wave of plastic pollution, for instance, and there are many small changes that you can make in your own (and your family’s) life to help them.

As well as looking after the environment, it’s important to care for yourself. Start believing in what you can do, say yes to new things and don’t feel you have to live in anyone else’s shadow.

As captivating as a starry sky or canvas of clouds might be, you are equally as unique and just as awesome.
